How a quote goes from Shopify order to paid Odoo invoice without a human
One production flow, from a Shopify order to a paid invoice in Odoo, with the two places where a person still checks.
Order in
Shopify fires a webhook. n8n checks whether the customer exists in Odoo, creates them if not, and matches the products by code, never by name.
First check
Orders above a threshold, or with a discount code, stop and wait for approval. Everything else continues on its own.
Invoice out
Odoo drafts and sends the invoice. The Stripe payment links back to it, so paid in one system means paid in both.
Second check and the failures
Credit notes stay manual. And every run reports itself: when a product code is missing, we hear it before the customer does.
See where the gains are.
